Founded in 2009 by carpenter Marcus Chen and interior designer Sarah Wilkins, Clearwave Buff emerged from a shared frustration with the renovation industry's lack of transparency and design vision.
Marcus spent a decade working for large construction firms where timelines meant more than quality. Sarah worked at high-end design studios where budgets excluded most families. They met at a community housing project and realized they both wanted to build something different.
Today, we're a team of twelve: licensed builders, designers, and project coordinators who believe great work shouldn't require compromise.
We don't follow a formula. Each home is different, each client has unique needs, and every space presents its own opportunities.
What stays consistent is our process: listen first, design with purpose, quote honestly, and execute with precision. We're not the cheapest option, but we deliver what we promise.
Our team holds full licensing across carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and design. We don't outsource critical work to subcontractors we can't vouch for. If we can't do it right, we don't take the job.
